Receipts and Bank Depositories - 5.030

Policy:

It is the policy of the Board that a secure fiscal system, consistent with good accounting practice, be established for the purpose of collecting and depositing funds. Upon the recommendation of the President, the Board shall approve the banks used as depositories. The President or designee is authorized to deposit College funds in the Local Government Pool of the State Board of Administration Depository and to transfer these funds, as deemed necessary, into the College depository account. Credit cards designated by the College may be used for payment of fees and bookstore purchases.
