If sufficient documentation is not provided, you will not be able to register for classes. The deadline for documentation is always the day before each term begins. This deadline is strictly observed.
3 Complete an Entrance Exam
If you have not taken the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education), call SCC’s Testing and Assessment Office at 407.708.2311 to schedule an appointment. You many also request a TABE Study Guide.

If you have taken the TABE, an official copy of the scores must be on file in SCC’s Records Office before your advising appointment.
4 Complete your Financial Aid Form
If you have not applied for financial aid, do so immediately at www.fafsa.ed.gov. It usually takes four to six weeks to determine your eligibility.
5 Provide your Transcripts
Official transcripts must be sent from your high school to SCC’s Records Office, 100 Weldon Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773.
6Create your MySCC Student Account
Visit www.scc-fl.edu and click on MySCC. Follow the instructions to create a new student account. If you have questions, click on the MySCC Help link or call the MySCC help line at 407.708.2050.

Orientation is mandatory for all new students. During orientation you will learn about College policies and procedures and campus activities. For more information, please call 407.708.2050. Click here to view online orientation.
8 Meet with an Adviser
After you complete your online orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet with an academic adviser. Please bring a copy of your test scores to your advising appointment. The adviser will use your test scores to help plan your course schedule for your first term at SCC.
9 Register for Classes
Following advisement, return to the Admissions Office to register for your first term using MySCC.
10 Pay Fees
After you register for your classes, check your "Total Due Charges" on MySCC to find out how much you owe the College and your payment due date. You can pay at a cashier window or online using MySCC. SCC accepts cash, debit card, personal check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Defer Fees

If you are receiving financial aid, you must accept/decline your financial aid and sign a deferment. Log in to MySCC and click on "Accept Aid and Defer Payment." Click here for instructions.
